The Cleepies

A few songs from the limited release album

"Going places, going nowhere at all"

This music really does not fit into any genre. I'm not sure what it is to tell the truth. Most of the music the cleepies does
is somewhat experimental or weird. We are unable to write "silly love songs" .
I say "we" although The Cleepies more or less is one person (Cris) with various guest musicians, most of which would
rather remain unnamed. I have no pretensions about this music. The Cleepies makes music to entertain ourselves and
our friends. If you happen to like it, drop me a line at the address below. If you don't like it , well, drop me a line anyway,
maybe I'll convert your message into a song....

All of the music was actually some backing tracks Wermod was recording for a completely
different song. One night sitting around in his studio he started playing the music, handed me a microphone
and said "go". Basically the words were made up on the spot.
I gave it a strange different vibe maybe?

This is a song I actually wrote out and figured out the music BEFORE I
recorded it! This is a song about the devious ways of nature, just when the
little bulbs of spring start sending forth their little tendrils towards the sun- WHAMO
the snows return....

Cris- words,vocal,acoustic guitar,acoustic bass,shaker.

This piece of music kind of sounds like it was recorded in a jungle with little monkeys
and birds chirping. At the same time you hear a confused little robot slogging through
the swamp trying to figure out "what's goin on??"

Cris-vocals,noises,electronic and acoustic percussion,effects
